A mock test is the single most accurate predictor of test readiness. Here's how to set one up properly.
A mock test done properly — same conditions, same silence, same time pressure as the real test — is the best predictor of whether you're ready to pass. Most learners who fail their real test have never experienced genuine test pressure in a controlled environment.
Your instructor should: say nothing during the drive except directions (no commentary, no prompts, no corrections). Use a 40-minute route similar to your actual test centre's routes. Mark you formally on a copy of the DL25 form. Debrief you only at the end. If your instructor spends the mock test coaching you through it, it's not a mock test — it's a lesson.
If you have a test date but want an earlier slot, TestSwap matches you with someone who needs your date.
